MGen John B. Morrison, Jr.

MGen. John B. Morrison was recently nominated to serve as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the Army Office of the Chief Information Officer / G-6. If confirmed by the Senate, MGen. Morrison would be promoted to Lieutenant General. LtGen. Bruce Crawford recently retired from the position, and current Deputy CIO Gregory L. Garcia is the Acting Chief Information Officer. MGen. Morrison previously served as Chief of Staff of the US Cyber Command. He joined the Army in 1986 and has also previously served as the Commanding General of the US Army Center of Excellence.
